I just stumbled upon an article about licorice root. It said that there are many scientific studies that show that licorice root nullifies liver damage from alcohol and Tylenol. The active component is called “Glycyrrhizin”, it is supposed to be a potent liver protector with anti-viral, anti-tumor, anti-inflammation properties. I’ve been taking Tylenol for years and now I worry about long-term liver damage. I just wonder if I should buy licorice root tea or capsules or drops. What’s the best and cheapest method to ingest licorice root? Any suggestions?
